Two Locals win
Governor’s Safety Award
Locals 297 and 2924 (Pittsburgh School District Employees) received the 2006 Governor’s Occupational Health & Safety Award on October 17th.
Both Locals participated in developing an “Accident and Illness Prevention Program” in 2003, which has decreased workplace injuries by more than 20 percent and saved more than $225,000 for the school district.
