No increase in dues for Council 13 members
A hot topic at the International Convention will be the 21st Century Committee's recommendations regarding dues.

Many Councils have a flat rate for all members, but the 21st Century Committee will recommend a "progressive dues structure" (a percentage of income, or a tiered rate based upon income) for all Councils.

"Council 13's members will have no increase in their dues," said Executive Director David Fillman. "We already have a percentage dues structure in place. Council 13 will pay the International's increase; it will not come from our members."

"We expect a lot of debate on this matter at the International Convention," Fillman added. "But Council 13 is on record as supporting all of the 21st Century Committee's recommendations."
