AFSCME 13 Women Sent to Summer School!

Carla Insinga, C13 Organizing Director; Liz Long, C13 Education Director; and Sue McCormick, C13 Organizing Staff (LtoR), facilitated workshops on "Internal and External Bargaining", "Basic Grievance Handling" and "Collective Bargaining" at the AFL-CIO UALE Summer School for Union Women held at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, MD.  The event took place July 8 - July 13.

The Mother Jones marker is located near the National Labor College

and is the first historical marker erected in the state of MD

to honor an organized labor activist.
