ENROLL NOW: AFSCME Free College classes begin January 2021

We are excited to share some new updates to the AFSCME Free College program! Our union is here to support our members and their family members as they pursue their higher education goals.

Eastern Gateway Community College has added its new Health Services degree to the AFSCME Free College program. It’s designed for students to establish the fundamentals they need to work in nursing and other allied health programs. Think of it as a sort of “pre-nursing” degree.

New to the Business Management degree program: In as little as one semester, you can earn a certificate to boost your career and job options in high-demand areas such as cybersecurity, programming and development, human resources and labor studies! Classes start Jan. 11, 2021.

For students who already have an associate degree, we’ve expanded our Free Bachelor’s Degree completion program with Central State University. You can now enroll with no cost in bachelor’s degree completion programs in interdisciplinary studies/humanities, business administration, early childhood education, education/intervention and criminal justice.

Interdisciplinary Studies is a flexible degree that allows students to build on their interest in more than one discipline, while providing workable options to meet your education and professional goals. These degrees are available for the spring classes beginning Jan. 19, 2021.
