Organizing Victory!
AFSCME Council 13 entered into a Joint Request for Certification with Northampton County seeking to represent the supervisors at the Northampton County Juvenile Justice Center. The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board returned to the parties a Certification of Representative. This means that AFSCME District Council 88 is the supervisors’ representative and may begin the meet and discuss process for them. This brings six new workers to AFSCME ranks.
