Union members continue push for Public Sector OSHA

AFSCME Council 13 joined elected officials and fellow unions at the PA State Capitol to continue efforts to pass and enact long-overdue Public Sector OSHA on February 5, 2024.

AFSCME Local 3130 President Felicia Spriggs-Wilkerson took to the podium to speak on behalf of her union sisters and brothers: “We as AFSCME members are constantly serving the public and sometimes performing very dangerous work, but we always show up for work – now we are asking elected officials to show up for us.”

Council 13 urges Pennsylvanians to make their voices heard and let state senators know that we can no longer treat public sector workers like second class citizens, and we must ensure they have the same basic protections as others.
