Registration open for Penn State Labor Activist Academy
Calling all union members, stewards, leaders, and allies! Register now for the September launch of the Labor Activist Academy, which will run as a virtual course open to participants from across Pennsylvania.
The curriculum consists of four comprehensive non-credit courses designed to develop critical thinking skills and to increase capacity for building power. Using a multi-union and organization setting, the courses encourage participation and networking with other activists.
Beginning on Wednesday, September 13, classes will be held via Zoom. Participants who complete all four courses will graduate with a certificate of completion from The Labor School at Penn State.
All classes will be held from 6:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. ET on the following Wednesdays:
• September 13, 20, 27
• October 4, 11, 18, 25
• November 1, 8, 15, 29
• December 6
